Sleeping Accomodations. Some party boats have a limited amount of bunks, so you need to make arrangements early. Most have benches that are padded, which will do just fine. Always get there early to get your spot.

Overnight Basics. A sleeping bag to crash out in on the way out to sea. Or for after slaying fish when you need a place to rest. Be sure to bring a pillow...sleeping on your arm gets tired quick.

Seasickness. Every year I hear about all these new gimmicks. The new one is ginger. Yeah right, try it in the bay Buddy, not when you're out 60 miles and are green as a garden snake. Remember the wrist band with the pressure point? Yeah, that worked real well. Let me tell you how many people I've seen green wearing that ridiculous wrist band. Dramamine works if taken the day before you go and when you have let your body acclamate to it. Take the full dose recommended and play it safe so you will have a great time. Bonine works well...and if you go to your doctor, they'll give you the patch which is probably the best thing on the market. Remember always check with your doctor on any medication. I am going on what I have personally seen over the years that works. I am not a doctor. Some people just cannot be at sea. My Mom get's seasick standing on a dock, so I'm not about to take her on a boat.
