The Trip Down



A summer road trip...See ya...bye-bye! Time to hit the road. Destination, the Carolinas. First stop Morehead City, North Carolina. Down there it's summer, red hot summer...you know, shorts, t-shirts, flip flops...unlike the weather we've had up here in the North. Time to slow down Southern style. Blue skies and sunshine.



It poured the entire ride down...we're talking the great flood. Should have taken a boat down...ducks were passing us by on the highway. I saw Noah's ark and tried to hitch a ride. But as soon as we reached the Carolina border, the rain stopped, like somebody pulled a switch. Made it down to Morehead City in one piece, and when I saw it, I had second thoughts...but I passed out in the hotel and awoke to blue skies and a gorgeous view of the ocean.
