Born and educated in England, Charles worked in the airline industry for 25 years. Charles traveled extensively and lived and worked in several European counties and the middle and Far East.
He fished professionally in England and resumed his professional angling career in the US four years ago.
Charles, who has lived on the island for over 12 years, has fished most lakes, rivers, streams and ponds on Long Island. One of his prime objectives is to use the knowledge he has gained to teach young fishermen and women the joy of the sport and the art of "catching". Unlike the more conventional sports, all members of the family can enjoy fishing. Fishing is a sport that does not place pressure on a child to succeed building the child's confidence and self-esteem.
Seminars and lectures are held throughout the season, and are free to attend. Simply call the D.E.C. at (516) 444- 0280 or check our Events page for a schedule of his appearances. |
