"A Letter to the Police"

Police on duty in Sheepshead Bay are supposed to protect and serve the people. Not break the chops of fishermen trying to load or unload fish and gear.

Some of the police (not all) have egos that need a little less watering. They give tickets out like breathing. They're not serving anyone but themselves.

Remember the community. They're not cattle. The police watch like hawks knowing the boats are coming in. They run down at exactly that time to break, (how do we say this politically correct, hmmmm....) well you know what I'm talking about.

Guys, hello out there. These boats are trying to make an honest living, they are not selling crack. They are good, hard working people. Give them a break. The more experienced police officers wouldn't even waste their time on such a pathetic routine.
