Capt. Dave - Sheepshead Bay
August 29, 1998

Most of last week was a wash out because of the coming of the hurricane that never came. On this day Capt. Dave was the only one who went out of Sheepshead Bay...and we really had our way with the fluke. The Captain put us right on the spots to nail them. It was work for the Captain...the fluke were tight on the structure...not in piles so it took a lot of short drifts to pick them up.

Translation, he had to work hard to get some quality fish on the boat. It was spectacular weather by the by. Wave height was maybe 6 inches not 6 feet. The weathermen that week got a little out of control with the doomsday syndrome. Listen up boys and girls, if you want to go fishing forget listening to the hype on the TV and go fishing you'll be surprised. Thanks for a great day of fishing...great crew fast and curteous with a sense of humor.
