I have a fishing report of interest . On Friday 9/4 a few guys from the North Channel Y.C. and the Broad Channel Rod and Gun Club chartered the boat Breakaway out of Montauk. I have fished seriously for 30 odd years and this was the best fishing experience I could imagine.
Captain Rick and 1st Mate Bob were great . Took us Bass fishing in the morning,landing about 40 fish and only keeping ones over 20 pounds.We ended up with 11 big guys. The afternoon was better we went off shore hooked up and landed a giant tuna weighing in at 884 pounds.
From left to right in the picture is Chuck, myself Mr. Tuna, Jeff (in the chair 1 hr and 10 min.), Bone, Capt.Rick, 1st Mate Bob, Howie, Tiger is not in the picture because he has the camera.
