The Explorer - Sheepshead Bay

October 25-26, 1998
(718) 680-2207

Look, this is how it goes...the tuna are in a good bite right now...the reports that I've gotten in the last two weeks have been good to great. The boats have been bagging from thirty to eighty fish of all sizes...go figure! So, you've waited all year for this moment...now is not the time to be an old dog and say it's too late in October to catch any tuna...WRONG!

The time is now...there are a few Jersey boats that have a handful of trips left and the Explorer in Sheepshead Bay has been doing a job on them too. I was tuna fishing on their boat this past sunday and did OK. The fish were there but you had to work for them to connect.

I connected for three tuna and a tile fish and so did my favorite photographer, Jim Tynan. We had a work out to say the least. The Explorer did a good job that day on the tuna. A good crowd was on the boat that day.

The candle is flickering out...don't be left out in the dark! Hook up today!
