Miss Point Lookout - Point Lookout

Captain Walter Specht
Thursday, June 12, 1997

A great family boat. This boat specializes in families. As far as the report goes...the fluke right now are piled 6 high out of Point Lookout inlet. It is a honey hole right now...watch for the tides. Summer is here, 80 degrees, light wind. Rig to use is high low, bucktail on top, squid rig on the bottom. That's my favorite rig...this is only a suggestion...like, don't walk in the highway with blindfolds on...just a suggestion! On this half day trip the boat caught 64 fluke. The pool winner was a 3 1/2 pounder, caught by Howie Chin.

This boat even has air conditioning and a full galley. The Captain, Walter Specht is a second generation Captain. I won't even get into experience, it would insult a Captain with all his knowledge of the Long Island coast. The pictures speak for themselves...Point Lookout is my pick of the week!
