A lot of reasons have come up for the recent slow down of blackfishing...
one of the main reasons is that the commercial netters from New Jersey used
roller nets over what was some of the most excellent blackfishing grounds.
They basically stripped the bottom of most of the fish. So blackfishing has been work, but some quality fish have still come through. Greg had to do twice the work on this trip...moving around to produce fish. He has had a 13 lb. blackfish pulled up on his boat this week...which is pretty impressive to say the least.

It was the last warm day of this unusual weather that we have had...nothing like blackfishing in 68 degrees in December! You've gotta love it! Had a good time as always on the boat and highly recommend going down to get your last licks on Mr. Blackfish.
