The Movin' On is a clean, fast fishing machine. We left at 6 AM ready to do some striper fishing. We shot right off to the lighthouse about a quarter mile out...started jigging and what can I say?
My brother Mark hooked eight and lost eight. Geoffrey Lawrence hooked three and lost three. His friend hooked two and lost two. Capt. John Kroll must have been beside himself...but welcome to fishing! He did his job, put us right over those puppies, but it happens.
So we switched it up and did some chunking. We had to work at it and we did. We got some nice stripers and some blues as well. The captain is a professional and I do recommend his boat to our readers. Next time we won't miss.
