The Super Spray II - Freeport

Sometimes the weather lags just right and this was one of those mornings. The boat wasn't crowded. And personally, I know there were some brutes around on the west side of the Inlet. Some quality fish to be gotten.
I've been trying to break my 6 lb. best this year and it hasn't been easy. I've had my shot on some real big thumpers. But things happen as we all know in fishing. That's why we call it fishing.
I like the big boats sometimes to be able to move around. Week days are the best to get away from the weekend warriors. Not a lot of fish came up, but there were some quality fish.
Had a great morning just to get out and enjoy. The mates were good, and the captain had his spots worked out.
