Bottom Fishing - Miss Point Lookout

Well here's a change of pace, bottom fishing smorgasboard. I mean everything bit but the kitchen sink. A small crowd, lots of fishing space to move around. We had sea bass all over the place. Every rod was bent, pulling them over. Then the fluke came out of the woodwork and we has some nice keepers.

Hit the bottom and pull, nothing complicated here boys and girls. And some real nice black fish came in over 5 lbs. Now were talking Dave's favorite, Mr. Blackie to you buster. I jumped all over them. Even though you can only keep one for now. Now if all of this is not enough for you, we threw a few gorilla blues in just to top off the cake.

Fall fishing is great for the mix and the Miss Point Lookout. We'll be sailing for full day of bottom fishing. Hot tip from Dave, bring a few green crabs if you can find them for some black fish fun. Also, don't throw away the beuguls, fillet them and use them for sea bass bait. They love them and they stay well and tough on the hook.

Go fill a bucket and bring the kids, they won't get bored on this kind of fishing.
