Fluke?

Capt. Lou - Freeport
October 25, 1999

Wait a minute, aren't you guys suppose to be gone? Not just yet? They're making their exit out on that lonely highway back to the depths of the Atlantic. That fluke highway runs along Jones Beach, which for the second year, Capt. Lou has been pounding on these fat, plump, juicy fluke. Thick as t-bone steaks, 90 and better for a half day trip smoking. This is not going to last very long...I mean maybe seven more days or less, so go get them. Red hot tip: listen, if I could sneak off I'd be going tomorrow. Tuesday and Wednesday, the wind should lay down which will make for good drifts. I know we're coming off the full moon and the tide may be running a bit swift. If you're going to use a silver bullet rig, go for at least 6 ounces or better. Good luck!
