Laura Lee - Bay Shore

Hottest day this summer...I mean meltdown. These are the dog days of summer..."bow wow wow, yippi yo yippi yay"...so on and so on.

The evening trip at 3 PM...now about the trip. Mother Mary and Joseph, we're talking as many fluke as you could possibly get. It was a banner trip...tons of fluke and weakfish to boot. I personally caught well over 25 fluke, kept my full limit and threw back the rest. There was at least 200 keepers.

Here's some of the people count...Melissa from Ronkonkama had 7 fluke (2 over 3 lbs.)...Father Barry had six keepers and a 3 pounder...Melissa also caught a beautiful 4 lb. weakfish. Now about the boat...the Laura Lee is a clean, fast boat. The crew is Dave's "Pick of the Week"...courteous and always on with a sense of humor...which is well needed. Captain Neil is an old fashion captain...he works his butt off to keep you on fish and he's good on crowd control. The Laura Lee is my favorite striper boat for the South Shore. Look, I gave you a hot tip, so use it...and tell them that Dave sent you!
