If you have never been on a long range sea bass trip before, you don't know what you're missing. We're talking sea bass 2 lbs., 3 lbs., and better.
Giant porgies to 2 lbs. and better. Fast fishing...great to bring a buddy for a cooler of fish. I highly recommend booking these trips if possible. Believe it or not they fill-up in a heart beat. So if you can't book it, be sure to arrive early to get your favorite spot.
Spider wire spectrum line is the only way to go. A high speed reed 6 to 1 wouldn't hurt either. Your going to be fishing some deep water so leave the spinning reel home please. In my eyes, electric reels are major overkill. If you love sea bass, don't miss out on these trips.
