Ocean Eagle - Sheepshead Bay
Captain - Greg Nardiello
Monday, May 5, 1997
The day was a captains dream. No wind, 60 degrees and calm seas.
On the boat were just a few guys and a great bunch of real sharpies.

I was in awe with all the tricks of the trade. One person by the name of Danny was knocking them dead infront of the boat. It was lift gently..tap tap and nail him. Sounds easy? Greg does alot of hunting to find his own spots. I admire that going the extra yard. The mates were not cheap in chumming to get these flatties to party with the clients.

An easy 150 flounder where caught, from 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. I had a great day because of a hard working crew. The count goes like this for some of the customers:
Anthony Corrado, 13 large jumbo flounder...Danny, sharpie of the day, limited out & lost count....Jeff limited out with fish to 1 1/2 lbs...Herman B. got 8 nice jumbos...for a total of 150 flounder on steroids! They never saw what hit them!

The stories I hear are that Greg is a master of finding killer blackfish. I gave you a tip, so don't miss on this horse! Be there at 7:30 AM sharp. Don't forget the doughnuts and coffee...and tell them Dave sent you!
