Fluke fishing out of Howard Beach has been up and down...but even the down is good and the up is fantastic. Fluke fishing does take some skill, not just luck...I will have some more tips in future reports. (Check my last couple of reports for some great fluke fishing tips)
I personally had two fluke at 3 lbs. each and was won out by a 4 lb. fluke. Pictures talk the rest walks! This is one of the best crews around for sure...and I will stand behind it.
The Captain Mike boat has some special weakfish trips...call for the time. This is a great boat if you don't want to travel all day and it is close to Manhattan. Tell them that Dave sent you. By the by...they fish Ambrose Channel, which is only going to improve in the coming days.
