Sea Queen - Sheepshead Bay

On Friday I took my son and his friend for a half day trip on the Sea Queen.
They were in a school play in the morning and they had the option of spending
the remainder of the day in school or coming out to do a report with me...
needless to say they chose the latter. And it was a good choice because we
all caught fish. The fluke are running pretty thick off the Coney Island Flats and
near the beaches of Coney Island.
I love when you know that you're on some good fish. I caught over 14 fluke and kept four that my son Michael and his friend Max pulled in. Max, who had never caught a fish larger than
a sunny, is now hooked on fishing and that made my day.
Now my son has a new fishing buddy! Sheepshead Bay gets for stars for fluke fishing. Happy hunting!
