Fishing in Jamaica Bay was good to me, three fish right off the bat. All keepers, not shabby for the first half hour. A fish here and there and keepers were three to five. Not what has been written in the Daily News last Friday. It's such trash, I won't even bother with such garbage writing.

Captain Mike and Tony gave a great day as always. The weather has cooled a wee bit. Silver bullet in the bay has been the hot ticket. Green teasers is the best color for now.




Work it slow and you can't go wrong. Easy on the bait, small strips. Squid is a must, buy it before you get on. The fluking will only get better over the days to come.
