We
took 20 pound spider wire with a four foot leader of 20 or 30
pound test and on the end we put a weighted treble hook. We
cast over the school of bunker, then let it fall to the bottom.
Here's the tricky part...reel ever so slowly and when you feel
a bump in your line rip back with meaning....like you've been
posessed by the devil himself. When you snag a bunker hold on
tight as your boat drifts down. A conventional reel is a definite
for this way of fishing.
