Brooklyn VI - Sheepshead Bay
June 25, 2001

B
luefishing has been eratic at best. You must work hard to earn your keep...translation...they are not going to jump in the bucket. I was out with Bobby on the Brooklyn VI
. Bobby traveled a hell of a distance to get us on some bluefish that he had found the day before. As fishing goes, they had moved.

The good news is that from listening to other boats on the radio, there is a mother load of bluefish headed our way. This is not a tip from the wishing well, this is a fact. By the end of the weekend, they should be knocking on our door and next week should be a slam fest!

Advice, get your butts down to the docks and put a justified bend on your rod. This has been a daytime bite. Night time has been a wee bit better. On the Island right, now you need to work to earn your fish.
