Royal Sunshine
Sheepshead Bay

August, 2001

So, you want to build an aluminum supercruiser. Okie-dokie...who knows what goes through people's minds when they have a cup of coffee in the morning and come up with the dreams. What always amazes me are the ones that actually follow through with these dreams. Life is nothing more than what we make of it and this is definitely a hell of an accomplishment of perseverence from nuts to bolts. The building started in August of 1999 and was completed in June of 2001. Captain Joseph and sons, Joe Jr. and Danny worked together.

Of course, first they spent a great deal of time looking for a used boat that they could upgrade to the standards that they needed. But most of these ships were beaten to death and the money to bring them up to snuff was ridiculous. Why buy someone elses black hole?

They had never built a boat before, but their father had been a captain since 1982 and orignally was docked in Garrison Beach. Being a Captain for a few decades, you know what you want.

The boat was built in xxxxx, New Jersey. In the beginning there were only three people building this massive boat...by the end there were five. The ship is 26 on beam and 110 on the deck. The boat holds 360 people. Great for large charters, catering, private parties, weddings and cruises around New York. There is enough room upstairs to have one heck of a dance floor for all to enjoy. No crowding here...she is a clean, brand-spanking new running machine.

May St. Peter guard and watch over your new boat. Dreams do come true, if you make them come true. God Bless!
