"The Big Blow of this Summer" - Jones Beach

The waves were cresting over 8 feet on the surf and way beyond that, on the ocean. It shut fishing down pretty much for the whole coast for 3 days and turned up the sea for 20 miles for two additional days. It was the only hurricane that came up the coast this year. Mother nature just showing her "pinkie" strength. It could have been a whole other story if she had come in ...we got off quite easy. This whole season has been incredible weather all in all...and still the best to come. So get out there and take advantage of this endless summer...that's an order!
