Things always workout the way they're supposed to. We make plans and God laughs...and so is the way with fishing. I'm on a half day fishing trip on an incredibly gorgeous day...fishing with one of the original little rascals. (The rich kid.)
All close friends having a great time together. That in my eyes is half the pleasure of fishing...the fishing is the cherry on top. We told stories together; Jerry Tucker, Cryll Percy and the rest of the characters aboard. The mates have a really good sense of humor. They were coming over steady with some nice sea bass...an easy going day.
By the end of the day we were doing some nice fluke fishing...5 in the front, 3 in the back...so on and so on, under the bridge. Joe Barabiso caught 5 nice fluke...Jim Garrett caught 3 nice fluke...and Steve Berter caught 5 fluke.
We also pulled up this unusual fish (above right ) if you can guess what it is, e-mail me with your answer. Here's a hint, if you ever catch one, don't touch it, it'll give you a shock!
