Ocean Eagle - Sheepshead Bay
Captain - Greg Nardiello
Monday, November 10, 1997

This is one of my favorite boats...a fishing boat for serious fishermen. It was the day after a long northeastern weekend, which is becoming the norm around here. But I was desperate to get out on the ocean for a story. I talked to the Captain and he was not expecting much in the action department. Mother nature had really turned up the bottom over the weekend.

Well, to our surprise the blacks were biting and coming over the rails. That is the way of the Ocean Eagle...he produces in the worst conditions. Over 70 black fish came in on a day that should have been a wash. Blackfish up to 8 pounds and a good card game...you gotta love it! It's the way of mother nature, you never know all of her secrets...as it should be.
.

I know that I've said this before...but if you are going blackfishing in these last days...treat yourself to a great day on the Ocean Eagle and don't be late! This boat is only for true fishermen...the rest stay home, please!
