Sunshine - Sheepshead Bay
Tuesday, March 24, 1998
Went out of Sheepshead Bay, before the heat wave? Anyway, we had to work for all those little critters. The five that I caught were a science experiment in flounder fishing. But all in all I had a great day of fishing. Not everyday is it written in the bible that "thy will catch a hundred fish".

This flounder season is in it's beginning stages, it is a slow pick...so sharpen your skills...sharpen your hooks...get a little holy water and splash it on your worm. Load your chum pots with the best mix of flounder chum and fish your butt off. As if there was a flounder an inch away, staring down your bait. That's how I fish.

The mates were charming...they all went to school in Paris for good manners and their tuxedos were superb...what grace and style. I give them Dave's star...great crew! The young blood Captain was top notch and worked for all his fish. As I've said before, some Captains, all they need is a bus license...because you're going for the tourist ride. I will not recommend those boats in my reports.

GOOD LUCK! The season is just starting...
