Captain Bob's Fleet - Mattituck

Thursday, April 30, 1998

The last days of flounder fishing at Mattituck...well the weather was aces...blues skies and a light south wind. The flounder were fat and chubby...it was a pick, but we had some sharpies on the boat who had their ways with Mister Flatty.

I personally couldn't hook a tug boat that day...it happens! Bob's crew are tops...the mussels were all ready...and they had all the sandworms needed, at no extra charge. All the things that make fishing with Bob a sure shot pleasure.

The fluke fishing has now started and I will be doing a special on the North Fork this coming week. There are also some good tips from Al Golberg to help prepare you to catch the doormat of your dreams.

So come down to Mattituck and have a great day! Thanks Bob for the great day! Dave
