The fluke were slamming all over...we had a blast. I personally love fluke fishing in a big way...I can slam on those puppies all day with a great big bear smile. His customers were doing a job. Fluke fishing takes a little work to triple your catch.

Cast out and jig your bait keeping it on the bottom. Do the Dave bump and slide on the bottom. High and low rigs with a bucktail and the high hook will always up your catch. The fluke are there, it just takes a little skill. It makes it a lot more fun.

So next time you go out stop at the tackle store and ask for different color bucktails. My favorite colors are green and white. Red works sometimes depending on their attitude.

Well, here is just some of the count...Ned Johnson of Floral Park with 4 fish to 17"...Anthony Chow of Bayside with 3 nice size fluke...Hattie Arnone of Point Lookout with 3 keeper to 2.5 lbs...for a total of 75 keepers on the morning trip and 40keepers in the afternoon.

The Miss Point Lookout is a four star family boat...great to bring your loved ones on.
