Peconic Star II - Mattituck

June, 1998

Here's a report that is alittle old...shoulda, coulda, woulda. Being there is what it's all about. The fluke were hot in size and couldn't be beat. The fluking is still good out in Mattituck, but as for doormats, not as abundant. Here are some pictures to make you drool.

Now I'm going to give you a hot tip...the night bass trip out on Capt. Lou's in Freeport is doing real good right now. Yours truly had one to the count of 42 inches...not shabby. And my other keeper was pretty fine too. I also busted my line on a bigger cow.

Get my drift. Call for exact times...because they will be going on the tides not a regular 7PM routine. Don't be left out! On the weekday trips the crowd was light so take advantage. P.S. Don't be left with your pants hanging around your ankles...Dave.
