Peconic Star II - Greenport

Well, the North Fork of Long Island is the place for the great Moby Dick Fluke. The Peconic Star II is a beautiful service boat...it is 90 feet long, with plenty of room. The crew on this boat gets my pick of the week. The music, yes the tunes, were great...all day long. You'll see when you get on..or should I say "hear"!

Let's talk major fluke...let's talk 5, 6 and 8 lbs...that's right, the proof is in the pudding! I personally never saw so many blue ribbon fluke in one day. We're not looking for numbers, we're looking for weight, size, width, thickness...Doormats..Barn Doors! Get it! Look, this is basic sense, if you want a good shot at a doormat, the North Fork is the place. You only have a few weeks left.

Check the tide tables before you leave. The pictures you see here are from one day, not stock photos from a year of fishing. Fresh whole squid is the trick here. Don't get cheap on the bait.
Tell them that Dave sent you...and e-mail me the results of your day.
